The mistral winds mark the change of seasons. It comes from the north, pouring over the Provençal landscape, eventually unleashing into the sea. Movement embeds itself into the history, terrain, and daily lives of the people along the Mediterranean coast. Through moving image, sound, and voice-over narration, "Passage" weaves together a contemplative film poem about an immigrant's clandestine journey across the Mediterranean sea.
